Data Request Overview

Users and customers acknowledge that KDAN would only comply with and respond to those requests for personal data accession according to the terms of our Privacy Policy under the circumstances in which those requests are instructed from the government agencies, the judicial authorities or the investigative agency. KDAN would always verify those instructions to ensure that they have legal legitimacy and constitute official orders from the government agencies, the judicial authorities or the investigative agency before we disclose the personal data according to those instructions.

If the law or any court order does not prohibit or restrict us from making external disclosures, KDAN will, after evaluation, notify the affected individual about the summary and the scope of those requests from the government agencies, the judicial authorities or the investigative agency, and the personal information of the affected individual that may be disclosed at an appropriate time and in a manner which we consider most suitable.

However, users and customers are also aware that KDAN may not be able to notify or disclose any information regarding personal data requests if the law or any court order prohibits or restricts external disclosure, or exempts us from the obligation of notifying the affected individual.
